Registration fees

The registration fees refer to the 13^th Official Congress of ISPPM from June 22^nd to 24^th, 2000.

The prices are quoted in Italian Liras and US Dollars. Registration fees include VAT 20%.

An invoice will be issued for each registration upon receipt of payment.

Working Lunches:

Working lunches are included in the hotel package.

The price of a working lunch for non-residents at the Grand Hotel Chia Laguna is L. 60.000 (VAT included).

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations received by the Organising Secretariat by registered mail on or before April 28^th will be accepted with an 80% refund of the registration fee.

Refunds will be made after the end of the Conference.

In case of uncontrollable events the above programme may be changed; events will be replaced by similar ones which have the same cultural significance and interest.

The Hotel reservations are made on a first-come first-served basis.

Reservations of the hotel packages will be confirmed only upon receipt of the hotel deposit as follows:

Hotel Package : L. 300.000 per person.

The balance must be received by May 15^th, 2000.

Hotel reservations will be cancelled if the balance is not paid by the due date and the hotel deposit will not be refund, being considered as a penalty fee.

Hotel reservations are only considered valid if accompanied by the requested payment.

The Participants are advised to buy one of the following hotel packages.

The rates are per person and include:

• hotel accommodation for 2 nights in full-board, beverages included ( from the dinner of 22^nd to the lunch of 24^th)

• transfer on June 22^nd and 24^th from/to airport

• social dinner on June 23^rd

tax and VAT inclusive.

Cancellations

Participants are requested to inform travel agency Centromed sas in writing of all changes made to the hotel reservations and of all cancellations. For cancellations made in writing and received before April 28^th, 2000 the following penalty fee will be requested:

Hotel Package : L. 200.000 per person

No refunds are made for cancellations received after April 28^th, 2000.

Refunds will be made after the end of the Conference.

Social Dinner

Social dinners are included in the hotel package and will be held on June 23^rd.

For participants who do not wish to buy the hotel package the cost for one social dinner amounts to L. 100.000 per person by contacting our travel agency Centromed sas.

Registration deadline for social dinners is June 15^th, 2000.

Travel Information

Ferry

Cagliari can be reached via sea with Tirennia ferries from Civitavecchia, Genoa, Naples, Palermo and Trapani. Those who wish to take the ferry are advised to schedule this much in advance.

Flights

Cagliari is connected to the main Italian cities by various daily flights.

Cagliari-Elmas Airport is 60 km far from the Grand Hotel Chia Laguna.

I.M.C., through its Travel Agency, offers a 30% discount on all Meridiana flights .

Application rules for flight discounts:

1. Discounts on flight tickets for the days of 18^th to 24^th of June will be applied according to availability in the different classes indicated by the air company.

2. After the tickets have been issued all possible changes will be done on the basis of the availability mentioned above.

3. The tickets to which a discount have been applied, cannot be issued on a prepaid basis.
   No discount can be applied to tickets issued/booked after June 2^nd, 2000. They will be issued prepaid and full rate.

4. Tickets should be paid before their issuance according to the payment terms indicated in this programme.

5. Discount tickets can be issued only by Centromed sas.

Transfers

Transfers from Cagliari airport to the Grand Hotel Chia Laguna and vice versa are provided on June 18^th, 22^nd, 24^th, 2000.

Transfers can be booked by indicating the arrival and departure dates and times in the appropriate spaces on the Accommodation form. This service will and can only be provided if the above information is given.

Transfers are included in the hotel package.

For participants who do not wish to buy the hotel package the cost for the transfer from/to airport amounts to Lit. 60.000 (VAT included) per person.

P.S.

For organisational reasons all payments made directly at the Congress Venue will undergo an increase of 4%.

CHANGES

The Presidency, the Scientific Secretariat and the Organising Secretariat reserve the right to make changes to the programme when this is deemed to be necessary for technical and/or scientific reasons.
