OF THE FOURTH ALL-RUSSIA CONGRESS FOR PERINATAL PSYCHOLOGY, PSYCHOTHERAPY AND PERINATOLOGY WITH THE INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION

«THROUGH THE INTEGRATION OF SCIENCES – TO THE PRESERVATION OF FAMILY REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH»

Resting on the governmental programs targeted to overcome a demographic crisis and also with the aim of promoting fertility and meeting the crisis of family institution the delegates of the Congress have expressed a firm belief in the necessity of provision (besides medical services) of a psychological support to the family in the matters of health, education and social sphere; they have emphasized the increasing role of prenatal education programs, highly appreciated the contribution of interested ministries and departments and in the first place of the Ministry of Health of the RF and the Ministry of Education of the RF.

Having heard and discussed the reports and speeches of the Congress delegates on the situation with the problem of preservation of family reproductive health, burning issues of perinatal psychology, psychotherapy and perinatology, the Organization Committee of the Congress and its participants consider necessary to recommend:

I. To the Ministry of Health of the RF to establish the Federal Scientific and Methodical Center for issues of perinatal psychology and psychotherapy.

II. To the Coordination Committee of the Ministry of Health of the RF for provision of medical and psychological aid in child’s clinical and preventive institutions and obstetrical institutions to accelerate the solution of the problem of the status of clinical psychologist and general psychologist in obstetrical and child’s institutions due to the shortage of the above specialists in regions of the country; to organize the development of educational programs for preparation of clinical psychologists able to work in obstetrical and child’s institutions.

III. To the Ministry of Education of the RF to consider the issue of the development and implementation of educative programs on family pedagogics and prenatal education in educational institutions of secondary, secondary professional and higher level.

IY. To the Organization Committee of the Congress to create the requisite conditions to ensure the exchange of information and professional contacts through Internet; to provide the possibility of operative access of the specialists to publications on these matters.

Y. To the Faculty of Clinical Psychology of the Russian State Medical University to make provisions for the organization of electives for perinatal psychology; to the Department of Psychotherapy and Clinical Psychology of the Faculty of Advanced Training Courses of the Russian State Medical University to organize the advanced training courses on perinatal psychology for “Clinical psychology” specialists.

The Congress delegates have argued for the need in the next forum aimed at the improvement of medical, psychological and psychotherapeutic programs and also at the exchange of opinions and the professional development of neonatologists, psychotherapists, psychologists, pedagogues and specialists in social and other interested spheres.
